I want to be an open book with my people when it comes to senior living finances and expectations. It should not be taboo or nosey or uncomfy or rude to address this stuff with me, it should just be straight up, no baloney facts talk. I’ve been on the side of the conversation that ends with “I just want to know if we need to be making financial plans for your future, that’s all” and it’s an unnecessarily awkward place to be. Hopefully, Geri-me will be more forthright on these matters. I want to have a financial strategy, a vision I can afford and lots and lots of real talk with the troops to ensure our expectations and accounting align. #GrandPlans
