I would like to promote the gift of family travel in my geri-experience. Besides education, is there anything that enhances quality of life more than exposure to our world and the cultures that define it? Our family jam was cruises — particularly back in the day when “The Love Boat” got high ratings and people wrote you up in the newspaper for taking one. Equally as memorable were camping trips and weekend getaways to nowhere special. The key was togetherness and family lore. So, let’s do more of that, Geri-Me.
“Love boat
Love, exciting and new
Come aboard. we’re expecting you.
Love, life’s sweetest reward.
Let it flow, it floats back to you.
The love boat soon will be making another run
The love boat promises something for everyone
Set a course for adventure,
Your mind on a new romance.
Love won’t hurt anymore
It’s an open smile on a friendly shore.”
